When will the course registration be valid?

Your registration is valid as soon as the course has been paid. If you do not pay for the course, your registration will be cancelled and you lose your spot on the course.

By registering for a course you accept that the course can be changed from contact teaching to remote teaching. If remote teaching is not possible, the course will be reprogrammed to another occasion or terminated. If the course is terminated, the Institute will not refund the paid course fees, but instead, the student can use the paid course fee for another course.

By registering for a course you allow the institute to send you information relating to your course by text message and email. We will mail you the printed course brochure for the next 2 years.

How do I pay for the course?

Course Online Store
You can make secure payments on the Netbank, with payment cards or MobilePay.

At the office
You can pay with payment cards or ask for an invoice.

Pay in parts or later
Register for a course and contact the office toimisto@helao.fi to agree on a payment plan.

Your employer pays for the course
Register for a course by email. Additional charge 5 €.

How to pay with Sports and Culture vouchers
Sports vouchers can be used as a means of course payment for sports and dance courses. Culture vouchers are accepted for all courses except for language, wine or food courses or Open University studies.

You can pay with Eazybreak, Edenred, ePassi ja Smartum.

First, register for a course and pay for it on the benefit supplier’s website or application.

Send our Office a photo or receipt of the payment by email toimisto@helao.fi.

Can I get a refund?

If you cancel your course registration not later than 7 days before the course is due to start,

• the course fee paid on netbank, payment card or MobilePay will be refunded in full.
• the balance of the course fee paid by Eazybreak, Edenred, ePassi or Smartum can in most cases be returned into your account if the cancellation occurs within the year the course fee has been paid.
• the balance of the course fee can be used for another course of your choosing.

When will the course fees not be refunded?

The paid course fees will not be refunded if you

• cancel a course less than 7 days before the course is due to start
• have registered for a course and do not show up
• discontinue the course
