You can also register for the courses by phone from Monday to Wednesday from 12:00 to 15:00 on 044 7100 214.

The office is open from Monday to Wednesday from 9:00 to 15:00 at Koskikatu 4 B.

The office is closed from 24 June to 7 August 2022.


At the top of the screen, under the Help tab, see more detailed instructions for applying for a course and registering.

Fill in all sections of the personal data form (including the rest of the personal identification number).

In addition, we need the guardian's personal information and billing address for registrations under the age of 18.

Be sure to check the box I have read the registration instructions and accept the terms and conditions and then send the form by clicking the Submit registration button.

Please check that your phone number and email address are correct, as we will notify you by email and email about exchange rate changes.

You will receive a confirmation to the e-mail address you provided when registering for the course.
You can check your My Registration from the My Registration tab at the top.
Enter your email address in the field and press send.
You will receive an e-mail with information about the courses you have registered for.

When you register, you agree to pay the course fee.

The course fee can be paid in connection with online registration. Paytrail will then be displayed as the recipient of the online payment.

If you do not pay for the course immediately upon registration, you can pay for the course using the payment link provided in the confirmation email.
The payment link is valid for two weeks (14 days).

If the online payment has not been made within two weeks, you will be sent an invoice from the office after the start of the course.
After receiving the invoice, you can also pay it at Kajaani Info at City Hall, at which time you can also pay your invoice with hobby vouchers, e-passport, etc.

Registration for the course is binding, and there are no trials on our courses.

Part of the teaching can be implemented as distance learning.

Courses entitling to a student grant are marked with the letter (S).
Courses entitling to a student voucher grant cannot be paid for online.

The grant will be targeted

- for pensioners,
- for seniors,
- for the unemployed,
- immigrants,
- those with a low level of basic education,
- for persons with learning difficulties, young people under the age of 20 covered by the education guarantee who do not have a postgraduate place, and
- all young people under the age of 25 covered by the training guarantee.
The grant will be awarded in part at reduced course fees for as long as the grant is sufficient.
The voucher grant can be obtained once a semester.

If you use to pay the course fee
- paper Luottokunta VIRIKE banknotes
- TYKY fitness vouchers or
- SMARTUM exercise and cultural vouchers (not just SMARTUM exercise vouchers)
deliver the banknotes to the college office as soon as possible after you register.

The college has no payment terminals and no payment transactions.

Unemployment vouchers issued by the City of Kajaani (€ 50) must be delivered to the college office, Koskikatu 4b, as soon as possible after registration.

For courses lasting the entire academic year 2022-2023, the said course fee applies to the entire academic year.

If the course does not start

- Kaukametsä College returns the online course fee to the student.
- The student will be notified of the course cancellation by text message.
- In order to return the fee, the student must provide the office with the IBAN account number to which the course fee will be refunded.
The course location can be canceled by the last day of registration. Check the date in the course information.
Thereafter, a cancellation or non-cancellable registration fee will be charged.

- Cancellation of a course place cannot be done for a teacher.
We do not send a separate invitation to those who have registered for the courses.
The college will only be contacted if the course is canceled or you have received a student place from a reserve.

The echo card entitles the cardholder to a free course. The echo card is personal and
it must be presented at the office upon registration. The echo card is only valid for a certain course.
One (1) student place has been reserved for the Echo Card student.
Echo card courses are marked with a (K) after the course name.
