Historiantutkija Teemu Keskisarja kertoo teoksestaan Saapasnahkatorni - Aleksis Kiven elämänkertomus. Lisäksi illan aikana kuullaan syksyllä ilmestyvästä Suuren Pohjan sodan historiasta. Luento kuuluu opiston kulttuurihistorialuentojen sarjaan. Luentosarja järjestetään yhdessä Kurikan kaupungin kulttuuritoimen kanssa.
